This ring was inspired firstly by Drawlloween 2022 and todays (10/12) prompt of Game of Bones. When deciding what to make for this prompt I was inspired by the famous Lovers of Valdaro grave of a man and a woman who died in each others arms in Italy approximately 6,000 years ago. They were uncovered in 2007 there is something extremely romantic to me about their fate and their final embrace. The ring is also a bit of nod to the tradition Claddagh rings with a crowned heart and the heart being held by hands. And lastly I have lately been researching Victorian jewelry quite extensively and have fallen in love with the Fede rings which are generally 2 clasped hands representing a token of loyalty or faith between two people.
This ring has a heart shaped center with my version of the embracing skeletons. Above the heart is gold crown and 2 hands are holding the heart and crown.
It is cast in solid 14k yellow gold.
The top of the ring is 19mm's wide and the band is about 2.75mm's wide at the back.
The ring in the photos is the one you will receive, it is a size 7 and ready to ship. It can be sized up or down within 1 size.
