Selene was a Titan goddess in Greek mythology. She was the goddess of the moon, and is said to be the personification of the moon itself. She drives her moon chariot across the heavens every night.
Selene was linked to Artemis as well as Hecate; all three were considered lunar goddesses.
This ring has a gorgeous flashy rainbow moonstone set in between a pair of crescent moons. The moonstone weighs 1 carat. The crescent moons and stars above and below the center stone are set with tiny irradiated light blue diamonds. There is a halo of natural VS white diamonds around the center stone and some additional diamonds on the band. The total diamond weight is approximately .50 carats.
Irradiated diamonds are diamonds that have gone through a high pressure high heat treatment that makes them change colors, the color is unpredictable and through and through the diamonds it is not a surface treatment. I think that the blue ones are especially gorgeous.
The pave diamond chevron wedding band hugs the Selene ring perfectly, it is set with an additional approx. .18 carats of VS white diamonds.
The stardust chevron also fits perfectly with Selene.
The rings shown are the ones you will receive they are a size 6.5 and ready to ship, they can be sized up or down within a half size. The rings are cast in solid 14k palladium white gold, we do not plate any of our metals.
The Selene ring is 15mm's wide across the widest point at the top and the band is about 2mm's wide.
When stacked with one side band the set is about 18mm's wide across the widest point at the top and each band is about 2mm's wide. Both side bands are about 22mm's wide at the top.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
We include a polishing cloth with every order. For at home cleanings I
recommend using a soft tooth brush and some warm soapy water. I
recommend a mild and natural soap like a Dr. Bronners or a Mrs. Meyers.
If your ring has stones you want to be sure to clean behind them as well
to help them stay extra sparkly.
If you have a high shine silver ring that you want to stay as shiny as
possible store it in an air tight container when not wearing it to avoid
oxidization.
