October 2021 I am participating in the All Hallows Spooky art challenge Presented by Caitlin McCarthy and Mary Syring.
The prompt for October 28th is 'Celestial' so I have made this celestial engagement ring with a 6 pointed star holding the center stone. Crescent moons tucked into the side of the star and 2 golden clouds farther down the band. There are some art deco styled details on the band as well. The center stone is a black diamond that weighs approximately .66 carats. There are 4 tiny black diamonds set into the crescent moons and the top and bottom star point. The side black diamonds have a combined weight of approx. .02 carats. This ring can be set with white diamond sides up on request.
The black diamonds have been heat treated to make their color solid.
The top is just over 10mm's wide at the widest spot and the band is 1.55mm's wide.
