This ring is inspired by Victorian Shadowboxes that held specimens of insects, I think they are so beautiful and intriguing. The center stone is a approximately 2ct portrait cut moissanite that is meant to look like the glass over a Victorian shadow box. Underneath the quartz is a gold butterfly and open 4 pointed star. Surrounding the butterfly is a baroque frame of scrolls. On the band there are 2 brilliant cut VS natural white diamonds, they have a combined weight of approx. .06 carats.
The Butterfly ring on it's own is 16mm's wide at the top and 2mm's wide at the back.
